Presenter: Hilary Ritt, Professional Development and Client Services Manager, Teachstone
Hilary studied chemistry at Georgia Institute of Technology as an undergraduate and, after working as a chemistry teacher, earned her Ph.D. in Instructional Technology from the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia. While at U.Va., Hilary taught in the teacher training program and facilitated professional development in technology integration. Hilary’s research interests have focused on contextual factors, such as leadership and organizational conditions, which enable effective implementation of professional development programs. As Professional Development and Client Services Manager, Hilary works with clients to choose professional development options and facilitate implementation of programs. Hilary’s goal in this process is to understand clients’ needs and provide effective professional development programs.
